UX Director-Rooms To Go

The Digital Marketing team at Rooms To Go continues to grow and we are looking for a User
Experience Director to join the team. The UX Director will lead and collaborate with Developers,
Analysts, Designers and Business Leaders to create designs, user flows, wireframes and


  • Work with the digital team to manage all aspects of UX, UI and Visual Design development, as well as coordinate execution and testing of UX concepts for both web site as well as mobile app.
  • Work closely with product managers, merchandisers, analytics team, designers, and internal
    developers to ensure high quality A/B and multivariate tests and iterate and optimize designs based upon those data gathered.
  • Lead user research through qualitative and quantitative methods in order to optimize user

experience and produce data-driven design.

  • Develop high level and/or detailed mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate
    interaction and design ideas.
  • Take on complex business goals and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use
    designs for our website users.
  • Use your experience, data, and research to drive UX design.
  • Lead user research through qualitative and quantitative methods in order to optimize user experience and produce data-driven design for both mobile and desktop experience
  • Analyze online and offline consumer behavior insights to suggest optimization opportunities
    and build a roadmap of innovative user experiences.


  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, visual communications, product, industrial,
    etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer
  • Experience leading user research, user validation, concept design, design systems, usability testing, and other modern design practices.
  • Expertise in UX best-practices and research methodologies, including demonstrated success in conducting user research
  • Strong transactional e-comm experience with a proven record for increasing conversion and engagement on site.
  • Three to five years of leading a team of product designers/UX Researchers & Designers
  • Experience working with web or mobile based technologies such as HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience working with Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch, Figma and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing usable digital interfaces.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  • You must include URLs for an online portfolio in addition to resume.
  • Minimum 3 or more years digital agency experience.
