Social Media Lead

As the Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for paid and organic social as well as influencer programs. You will work with a great team and agency partners to direct and execute the strategic direction of the creative and media for social campaigns. As the Social Media Lead, you will leverage your retail experience, the knowledge you gain as a Rooms To Go insider, and current media and social technology to drive greater relevancy and consideration with a focus on amplifying the Rooms To Go brand through online social media engagement.

What will you do?

  • Use creative direction skills to develop cohesive and impactful online and in-store social campaigns
  • Develop compelling social programs to drive consideration and purchase with new audiences and reinforce the brand for known audiences
  • Explore what is new and develop strategies to utilize emerging media and technology platforms
  • Oversee paid and organic social programs and drive media strategy and performance
  • Direct team to create and coordinate content and initiate creative development as needed
  • Solve problems and create solutions with relation to social media issues
  • Focus on what the consumer perceives and needs and create media programs to support their decision journey through social and influencer generated content
  • Develop social and digital media audience segmentation and align with most impactful creative
  • Prioritize, optimize, sequence and create best media and creative stack to resonate with target audience by identifying potential considerers and guiding them on their journey to purchase
  • Data, data, data! Measure performance, monitor ROI

Must Haves

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing related role
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years managing an influencer program
  • Experience managing a very significant budget in a highly accountable fashion
  • Experience in leading, growing, and developing a team
  • Bachelor's, preferably in a marketing, creative, or quantitative field
  • Experience building out social calendars and messaging strategies
  • Experience in creative testing
  • Excel skills and data analysis
  • Functional knowledge of all aspects of Digital and Social Media
  • Solid understanding of interactive research tools and Google Analytics
  • Advanced understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Team player that is highly collaborative by default
