What Will You Do:

As the Shop Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our Shop team on 1st Shift, Monday-Friday. You will supervise the daily activities of all shop personnel including: prioritizing and assigning tasks, ensuring timely completion, setting work hours, and monitoring performance. In the Supervisor role, you will also be rolling up your sleeves and helping with any shop tasks that need to be accomplished. We are looking for someone with the ability to provide strong leadership and guidance, be innovative, a problem solver, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additionally, in order to be successful, you must demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to integrate changing processes and procedures, to work effectively within a large organization, and to manage time and resources effectively in a fast paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Two (2) years of college with classes in Business or Industrial Management
  • Ability to provide excellent leadership skills, including the ability to instruct and motivate team
  • Must have strong woodworking and mechanical skills
  • Proficiency in completing complex and varied administrative documents in an accurate and timely manner and be able to work with all levels of management
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing, logistics, warehouse experience of which (1) year involves supervision or of which one (1) year involves furniture repair and restoration with case goods, fabric upholstery and/or leather upholstery, or three (3) years of supervisory or management experience
