DevOps Quality Analyst Manager

Location: Tampa Fl.

Role: QA DevOps lead/Manager

Description: DevOps QA Manager will lead and manage 3-5 Quality Assurance team members in testing and delivering quality solutions while supporting the unique custom agile SDLC at Rooms To Go. Lead and inspire a team of software quality engineers on premise that will balance new features, test automation, operations and quality using Microsoft Azure DevOps tools.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Overall Experience: Minimum of 7 years industry experience.

Minimum of 5 years management experience, managing at least 2-5 engineers.

Minimum of 5 years experience working with C#, and/or other similar languages.

Minimum of 2 years experience working with SQL databases.

Minimum of 3 years experience with Azure DevOps (Previously TFS and VSTS).

Minimum of 1 years experience with Cloud Technologies.

Undergraduate degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, information systems, business, writing, or equivalent work experience

Experience with software development lifecycle

Experience with project coordination or project management

Knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices

High proficiency with Microsoft office and Azure devops

Ability to analyze complex concepts and provide thorough descriptions

Working knowledge database queries in SQL or equivalent

Strong customer service focus

Clear verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Capability to work both independently and as part of a team

Problem-solving mindset with ability to multitask

Self-motivated: ability to work with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Ability to lead teams using Agile as a software development framework.

Ability to lead a team responsible for component, integration and customer focused testing using Use Cases and/or User Stories.

Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible.

Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

Experience with analytics/metrics/reporting systems, especially provided as a service.

Experience with testing Client-Server, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS product offerings.

Experience in building automation frameworks.

Proven ability to work in partnership with development, product management, program management, operations and services.

Domain knowledge in the area of Web server (IIS/Equivalent) environment

Experience and Education:

Software Quality Assurance: 10 years (Preferred)

Management or Lead in QA field: 3+ years (Preferred)
