Rooms To Go is growing, and this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with America's fastest growing and largest independent furniture retailer. Our business is growing which creates the need to improve and automate internal business processes. The Operations Analyst will work within the Operations Planning department to support application development and process improvement for multiple areas, including purchase order management, third party package shipping, utility usage, and other ad hoc processes and system development initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support enterprise-wide package shipping system implementation and maintenance. Work with UPS, FedEx, and USPS to coordinate billing, contracting, and shipment auditing. Resolve shipment problems as they occur with shipping systems provider. Support users throughout company with respect to solving shipping systems issues and connectivity problems.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and business process improvement opportunities related to operating a large decentralized package shipping operation. Analyze package shipping data to highlight exceptions, train users, and drive accountability with carriers and vendors.
  • Assist with on-going support to multiple systems development projects, including the refinement of a purchase order management system and store order management system.
  • Assist with managing multiple ad-hoc projects involving utility audits, LED lighting retro-fits, and other business automation/cost containment projects as needed.

Requirements to be considered include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference towards an Associate's degree in a business related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access
  • Detail-oriented, time-management, multi-task oriented, and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to be a team player and work autonomously
