Job Description

The Manager of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing the sourcing and recruiting plan to meet the exempt and non-exempt hiring needs for Rooms To Go. This role supports all three segments of our business - corporate, retail, and distribution. This position will collaborate closely with other Human Resources functions to provide the most streamlined experience for our new hires. This role supports all aspects of the recruiting function including day-to-day management, sourcing and recruitment, networking events, and identifying the most effective practices within talent acquisition. Some travel is required.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Meeting hiring objectives
  • Managing and motivating the recruiting team
  • Providing the most effective practices for employee branding, sourcing, selection and technology
  • Leveraging the current capabilities of the Applicant Tracking System, prioritizing opportunities where limitations exist
  • Develop metrics that help identify the current state and provide analysis where improvements can be made
  • Sourcing and evaluating candidates for select corporate roles while always looking for opportunistic hires to bring into the business

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent years of related work experience required
  • 10 years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience in an enterprise Talent Acquisition function
  • Prior multi-discipline recruiting experience, retail preferred
  • A proven change leader with experience successfully leading significant TA initiatives in a high growth, fast moving organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build commitments across business functions
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • A passion for metrics and analysis
