Kids Merchandising Coordinator

Perimeter Office, Dunwoody, GA

We are seeking a Product Category Coordinator to support the Vice President of Kids Merchandising & Design and broader Kids merchandising team. The ideal person for this role is proactive and enthusiastic, enjoys a challenge, is inquisitive and focused, and approaches every interaction with curiosity and a desire to understand.

Job Responsibilities -- list below are examples of scope, but not entirely inclusive of all tasks.

  • Organizational & Processes
      • Scheduling weekly kids team meetings. Collecting agenda items, posting reference to calendar, publishing agenda, taking notes and re-publishing. Following up on action points and deliverables.
        Assist with photo studio and 3D rendering asset creation, product accuracy review, and process management.
      • Running reports, consolidating data from multiple reports and sources.
      • Create org system to Kids Merchandising shared drive, documents, folders, and files.

  • Product
      • Helping to create and maintain kids war room board with product assortment, metrics as well as ad planning and postmortem metrics.
      • Helping to manage product development cycle including running cost sheets, following up with vendors for samples, testing, and compliance.
      • Helping to manage Disney OPA process and vendor FAMA compliance and status.
      • Checking inventory status for all 3 regions and signaling when issues occur.
      • Maintain project list, product list, and common skus list.
      • Proof and review assembly instructions, catalogs, price lists.
      • Help to update assets on DAM for kids, archive old images, review assembly instructions, link to correct skus.
      • Run pricing calculations for all product development.

  • Marketing
      • Assist with marketing calendar planning including looking up reports and ads and listing past year performance as reference for what to plan for and do this year. Publishing ad notes to different teams using outlook calendar.
      • Help with visual mock ups for design or marketing purposes.

Skills You'll Need

  • 6+ years relevant work experience; direct EA experience not a prerequisite
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a busy calendar that changes frequently and can span multiple time zones
  • Flexible and adaptable to fluctuating workload; able to handle and appropriately prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive in asking questions and seeking clarification on tasks or priorities
  • A natural assertive attitude and strong communication, organization and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Both a team player and independent worker; high sense of accountability for own work and ability to help others meet their part.
  • Computer/software:
    • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook & Word.
    • Excel -- Familiar/fluent with pivot tables, advanced formulas, and graphing.
    • Familiar with Google Docs, Google Sheets. Familiar with Adobe Photoshop or other graphic design programs a plus.
