Position Summary:

Our Retail / IT Corporate Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle process for Information Technology as well as source and identify qualified candidates for assigned stores openings. The Recruiter will assist in promoting a strong employment brand, ensue a positive candidate experience by creating a high touch environment. You will be expected to develop and execute sourcing plans and facilitate intake discussions with the Hiring Managers to clarify expectations, conduct interviews to evaluate qualifications, consult with the Hiring Managers to influence and present candidates, manage the interview and selection process, present job offers and manage acceptance of offer. You'll be a consultant to our business leaders around our internal process, the external market and recruitment best practices. Most importantly, you'll be a Talent Acquisition partner to our Information Technology, Stores and HR teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a network of relationships inside and outside the organization in the Information Technology space and have the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  • Collaborate with key Leadership and HR Partners and serve as a strategic partner on Talent Acquisition related activities
  • Develop a strong business acumen to help translate the needs of Rooms To Go into talent management solutions
  • Consult with Hiring Managers to identify the scope of the talent needed and develop and implement strategic and effective sourcing strategies
  • Intense day to day online sourcing of IT and Retail talent
  • Explore new, creative ways of sourcing talent to optimize success by direct sourcing passive talent, utilizing social media, job boards, advertisement, and networking to develop a qualified candidate slate
  • Identify qualified candidates, conduct screening interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews with Hiring Managers
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of candidates and recruiting sources
  • Advise and consult with the Hiring Managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and market trends within the industry
  • Provide on-going follow up with Managers to provide updates and gather feedback on talent submissions and interviews
  • Identify and implement best practices throughout the hiring process
  • Lead, participate and collaborate on projects, when necessary
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and EEO / ADA guidelines
  • Partner with Legal team to assist with any Immigration needs
  • Performs other duties as required

Employment Standards:

  • At least three years of professional experience facilitating the full lifecycle recruitment efforts
  • At least two years of Information Technology Recruiting, recent technologies preferred
  • Search firm experience a plus
  • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with candidates and associates, and guiding managers through the hiring process to achieve strong outcomes
  • Strong market research capabilities with the ability to execute a recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, placing postings and advertisements, candidate management, and interview process management
  • Strong sourcing skills and the ability to generate leads
  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing techniques
  • Must have working knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Ability to effectively navigate within an Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and possess strong organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities
  • Ability to Travel 10% of the time, depending on business needs
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee's workstation
