Job Description

As a member of the Information Security Team, the Information Security Engineer will collaborate with other engineers from the Information Security team, other IT teams, and business units to complete project related tasks, resolve incidents, and satisfy requests. They will work together to secure the company's internal and external infrastructure while enabling and contributing to the Rooms To Go's success. This includes implementation of new products and the on-going maintenance and management of hardware and software that secures the company's networks, systems, and data. They will analyze and troubleshoot problems and perform monitoring for potential security incidents. They will be a technical point of contact for critical infrastructure owned by the Information Security team.
  • Maintain accountability for one's time as it fits within the priority model of ADMIN, SUPPORT, REQUEST, and PROJECT or as directed by management
  • Manage and track the progress of requests, incident, problems, and projects appropriately
  • Assist and consult in non-Information Security owned projects where Information Security is a stakeholder
  • Follow and abide by policy, process, and procedure
  • Implement products and resolve incidents and requests with the appropriate balance of security and functionality
  • Maintain transparency to peers inside the team and to other business units
  • Train relevant personnel on proper use of security products
  • Be an evangelist of Information Security to teams and business units
  • Follow incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Understand and report on compliance issues
  • Quickly learn new technologies and concepts and apply that knowledge effectively
  • Hands-on experience with McAfee web technologies. Desired: Experience with Proofpoint technologies.

  • Two-Factor Authentication
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education, work experience, or applicable certifications.
  • 5-7 years of network/operational/application/endpoint security experience
  • Knowledge/training of ITIL or other IT standardization models
