Rooms To Go Furniture Inc., is looking to add to our existing Human Resources group by hiring an experienced leader for our Store Human Resources partners. This person will manage several HR team members and will report to the Head of HR/Employee Services. They will also support some corporate departments in conjunction with our Sr. Human Resource Manager, Corporate and Distribution Centers. The Store HR Manager will oversee and personally investigate escalated Employee Relations situations, review unemployment claims, study key HR metrics such as trends in headcounts and turnover, provide training and leadership to our HR team & Store Managers and ensure compliance to the Rooms To Go policies and procedures. They will assist the Store HR team with processing various transactions to support the life cycle of our Associates, looking for process improvements and efficiencies. They will be a proactive partner to Regional leadership and support win-win solutions.

The chosen candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field, a minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources including leadership experience greater than 5 years with a medium to large company (1000+ employees). They will have proven leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to motivate, think creatively and problem solve. In addition, excellent written and verbal communication skills, multitasking, strong technical skills (including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), excellent time management skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. This position will require travel to our Regional Store locations and is located in Seffner, FL.
