Rooms To Go is currently in search of a part time Helpdesk Analyst with a passion for excellence and the desire to provide outstanding customer service! This is a fantastic opportunity to get in with a growth oriented company.

The Helpdesk Analyst is responsible for providing first level troubleshooting and support to the internal organization as the main point of contact for IT support needs. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff issues, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. The Helpdesk Analyst must be able to prioritize, rapidly move from one task to another, and multi-task to satisfy the customer's immediate needs. Coverage includes all Rooms To Go Stores, Manufacturing Facilities, Distribution Centers, Corporate Centers and remote users based both in the US and Puerto Rico markets.

The chosen candidate for this position will possess:

  • Some college course work toward a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or work experience equivalent to required education;
  • Knowledge of the follow:
    • Windows Desktop OS, Windows Mobile OS, Mac OS,
    • Local Area Networks, TCP/IP, Wireless technology,
    • Microsoft products,
    • Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration,
    • Knowledge of various smartphones (iPhone, Android, Windows),
    • Remote Desktop and VPN for assisting remote users,
    • Troubleshooting laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, phones, thin client devices, network connectivity, wireless LAN connectivity and mobile devices,
    • Citrix environments, and
    • VoIP systems.
