Job Description

Rooms To Go is hiring for a Corporate Security Manager, which will support our stores regionally and be responsible for ensuring the stores are in compliance with Rooms To Go company policies. The scope of responsibility will include asset protection, management of Loss Prevention Equipment and the directing of Service Work, Installs and CCTV, and Access Control.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Knowledge of access control systems to ensure proper operation
  • Repair and reconfigure access control system equipment
  • Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
  • Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software

Required skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of leadership/supervisory position in Loss Prevention
  • Strong leadership profile and excellent Technical skillsSolid technical skills and experience related to access control, intrusion, CCTV and other various security related systems
  • Experience installing, servicing, and maintaining access control and close circuit television systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute strategies
  • Effective prioritizing and time management skills
  • Ability to build partnerships with operation and store managers
