Rooms To Go is growing again and we are seeking a Clearance Center Weekend Warehouse Manager in our Dunn, NC Distribution Center who is an innovative problem solver with solid leadership skills. As a Clearance Center Warehouse Manager, you will manage and coordinate the daily warehousing activities for the clearance center, and work with inventory, quality and customer pickup departments.

As a member of the Rooms To Go Team, you will be a part of helping our customers to make their houses in to their DREAM homes! If our Sales Team is at the heart of our company, our Distribution Team is the backbone and provides structure and support. The right candidate will help to ensure that Rooms To Go is able to provide good quality furnishings for our customers' homes at a great price! Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage various aspects within the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
  • Manage activities including but not limited to customer pick up, clearance, quality, receiving, distribution
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial Management or the equivalent
  • Four years of management experience over one or more departments and/or shifts in a multi-shift warehouse environment
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Most positions may require the ability to work flexible hours to include nights, holidays, and weekends
