Job Description

The Broadcast Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Media Buyers by auditing and reconciling invoices, interfacing with station account executives, accounts payable and their assigned Media Buyer. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Invoice auditing and reconciliation
  • Interfacing with station account executives, assigned media buyer and accounts payable on invoice related issues
  • Creating and issuing requests for proposals
  • Evaluating and analyzing radio station proposals and ratings estimates
  • Negotiating radio buys and remote broadcasts
  • TV post analysis preparation
  • Preparing New Vendor data packets, processing to Accounts Payable, Completion of Vendor information in Strata
  • Assisting Media Buyers as requested
  • Department file and records maintenance, tracking and transfer


  • Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadline requirements
  • Focused attention to detail
  • Math/analytical aptitude and skills necessary for a high degree of financial accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency level in Excel; Strata experience helpful; fast adaptor to new software training
  • Negotiation experience
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive image and relationships with station representatives
  • Four-year college degree
