Rooms To Go is growing again, and we are looking to bring on an entry level person to play an Administrative role for our Quality Assurance Department. As the Admin for Quality Assurance, you will create and analyze quality reports, work with internal departments and vendors to confirm Rooms To Go remains in compliance with all government regulations, oversee testing of products, and assist in improving the overall quality of our products. You will communicate with suppliers, importers, manufacturers, and buyers, and will be directly involved in helping to improve the overall quality of individual lines of furniture, allowing RTG to continue to provide our customers with the best possible value at a great price. 

To be considered, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A high school education or the equivalent
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in a retail support or manufacturing environment dealing with product related issues and inspecting product to insure that it conforms to standards (experience dealing with customer related issues is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have or be able to obtain with 1 year an ASQ certification
  • Ability to produce quality related reports and documents accurately and timely, and to work effectively within a large organization
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple objectives, to integrate changing processes and procedures, and to manage time and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of initiative and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move, stoop, bend, reach, stand, sit, walk, and use small hand tools
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that involves exposure for long periods of time to:
    • Temperature extremes, high levels of humidity and occasionally wet conditions (temperatures normally range from upper 90's to low 30's with humidity approaching 100% depending on geographic location and season),
    • Normally moderate to occasionally high noise levels, and
    • Moderate levels of dust, chemicals, and toxic and non-toxic fumes (respirators are used in some functions).
