Job Description

We are expanding and are hiring an enthusiastic leader in to be our 2nd shift Lift Department Manager to work together with other leaders developing and implementing strategies while fostering collaboration to accomplish department goals.


  • Recruit, motivate and retain a team of high-performing and driven Associates
  • Drive your team with effective communication, providing effective coaching
  • Work with other department leaders to cultivate a welcoming and team-focused environment
  • Communicate effectively with Associates and all levels of management
  • Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address areas of improvement, and execute accordingly
  • Manage department budget, ensuring department goals are met or exceeded
  • Strategically manage department operations in compliance with company policies and vision
  • Initiate, coordinate and effectively manage compliance of optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security


  • Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent
  • Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to manage details, appreciate complexity, and champion problem solving
  • Strong Leadership skills, flexible and innovative with a collaborative style
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Strong decision making and problem solving and communication skills
  • Lift equipment experience, including a certification and the ability to operate heavy machinery
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends
