Job Description

Jr. Paralegal -- Quality, Compliance and Legal-- This position will partner cross functionally and utilize continuous improvement tools to research and find quality/compliance related issues. This position will collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to products, projects or company initiatives ensuring safety, quality, and compliance of products and operations as well as handle general paralegal responsibility for the Legal Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Two-year college paralegal degree with preferably minimum one year of progressively responsible experience in legal depart or law firm and quality assurance or product research
  • Investigate product returns, exchanges and/or claims to help determine root cause of analysis
  • Ability to collect and assist analyzing product service claims and repair data and communicate to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Record and monitor any product issues to confirm matter has been resolved.
  • Monitor and communicate all manufacturing/delivery quality alerts
  • Research product inventory on inbound loads, product on hand per distribution center, in-transfer and at retail locations.
  • Provide additional support to compliance and legal department on other ongoing tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to keep Confidentiality a must.
  • Ability to multitask and strong technical ability
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Additional Requirements:

Must have the ability to produce quality related reports and documents accurately and timely, and to work effectively within a large organization. Requires the ability to organize and prioritize multiple objectives, to integrate changing processes and procedures, and to manage time and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
