Digital Creative Director -- Rooms To Go

Anyone looking to advance his or her career and gain exposure to digital graphic design, then this position is for you. As a Digital Creative Director, you will interact with the Digital Marketing team -- including Creative and Ecommerce Merchandising. Your role will focus on providing advertising and website creative support; this includes being able to multi-task, lead a team of graphic designers and manage multiple timelines. As a team contributor, this person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the digital creative space, understanding of various online marketing platforms and experience with commonly used design tools. This candidate should have experience designing the following types of digital assets: banner advertising, email templates, website assets, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Snapchat ads and native ads. Experience executing full digital campaigns is preferred. In addition, the candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, exciting environment.

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of Digital Graphic Designers. Provide support and mentorship to Digital Graphic Designers and Production Artists.
  • Works with our Creative team to support creative strategy through digital asset design and execution.
  • Assist in adhoc creative request relating to banner assets, site design and promotional assets.
  • Conducting competitive research, including design insights and trends.
  • Participate in creative briefing, testing and brainstorming.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Marketing/Design Major preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Skills -- Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites: Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with Animation tools.
  • Strong design portfolio. Digital campaign experience preferred.
