Job Description

The Business Analyst will be part of the Application Development team, and will interface with stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and software requirements. Applications include custom enterprise applications web and executable based. The primary business area supported will be distribution so a background working with related organizations is preferred.


  • Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
  • Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.
  • Define the business problem and primary objectives of new requests. Identify and validate the key business requirements.
  • Create functional requirements in use cases.
  • Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases accurately portray specific business needs.
  • Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
  • Work in step with QA team to ensure acceptance criteria meets the need as defined in the business requirements.
  • Facilitating acceptance testing from end to end. Including identifying users, providing purpose and details of testing needs. As well as recording feedback and ensuring resolutions are implemented where appropriate, or conversely, where further user education is required.
  • Contribute to project plans.


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a Business Analyst position, or a related role.
  • Certification in Scrum, or Kanban preferred.
  • Must be an excellent communicator. Is able to discuss a problem or idea and identify the key requirements, then document appropriately.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Design an appropriate user experience from requirements and provide wire frames with sufficient detail to express the intent and functionality.
  • Capable of defining and adhering to a standard BRD for applications, both existing and new.
  • Experience with MS Visio for creating process flows, cross functional diagrams, and story boarding.
  • High Level understanding of WPF, UWP, MVC, and Xamarin applications.
  • Experience with Universe or AIX environment is a plus.
