Job Description

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be the gate keeper, a resourceful and dependable partner, working with the distribution center management team, human resources and all levels of employees in our Brookshire distribution center to facilitate the flow of information and performing daily administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, providing support, necessary resources and facilitate supplies
  • Utilize MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Work with management to coordinate facility events, facility meetings, etc.
  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Answer and route incoming calls appropriately
  • Create travel itineraries as needed
  • Assist management and staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma, Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working as an Administrative Assistant for Senior level Management.
  • Solid written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. PowerPoint a plus.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
