Job Description

The 3D Request Coordinator is a member of the 3D Asset Group who develops and supports Rooms To Go's asset's data operations. This position is responsible for the acquisition, manipulation and systems deployment of the 3D assets utilized by the Rooms To Go Furniture. This position is also responsible for mastering various assets technologies and determining their usage in support of an interactive experience.

Individual must have strong ITIL Request Management skills, Microsoft Office skills, be self-motivated, self-starter, highly organized, detail and multi-task oriented. Must have good communication skills and the ability to adjust to changing priorities. Individual must be a team player and work well in collaboration with others, but also must be able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish. Thrives in a constantly changing environment, enjoys and is quick to learn new skills. A problem solver who thinks outside the box to find creative solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Designers to coordinate & complete assets requests from various merchandisers.
  • Review and acknowledge service requests to Designers group.
  • Track progress of the projects and keep management informed
  • Review and acknowledge service requests to 3D group
  • Act as an escalation point agent when difficult or controversial requests are received
  • Gather project requirements and additional information needed to complete the requests from various sources
  • Download/Upload assets from/to digital asset management system, prep, name, organize and upload; according to established specs & processes. Maintain assets publishing data and synchronize with ecommerce catalog
  • Maintain and organize processes and procedures documentations. Ensure work instructions are documented and support groups are trained to handle requests in production
  • Service Request Process Owner
  • Responsible for ensuring the process is being performed according to the agreed and documented process and is meeting the aims of the process definition.
  • Design, document, publicize, and continuously improve the request process
  • Define the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the request process.
  • Review KPIs and take the required action following the analysis
  • Review the submitted request and coordinate with management whether to approve or deny it
  • Ensure all stakeholder sign-off is captured at required intervals throughout the design process
  • Report to managers on any issue that could significantly impact the business
  • Coordinate the overall Asset request activities. Take overall responsibility for service request handling and assigning.

Employment Standards:

Knowledge

  • ITIL Foundation, Request management and knowledge management processes
  • Knowledge of Request Management tools and technology.
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Planner, Flow, Teams)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Information technology.

Experience

  • Over five (5) years of request management experience or a combination of experience and education.
  • Over five (5) years of creating processes work flows and project work breakdown structures.
  • Over five (5) years of creating and maintaining Knowledge Base articles and training materials.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Rooms To Go work experience

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. Sharepoint, Planner, Flows and Teams.
  • Proficient with Request Management (ITIL preferable)
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Experience with Knowledge Base products and processes.
  • MAC/PC computer skills required, along with experience in the use of multiple browser platforms (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc)
  • Works well under deadlines
  • Ability to assimilate new technologies quickly
